They say go big or go home, and that’s exactly what a group of wonderful lads are doing in memory of someone close to them.

John Haynes, alongside his 5 friends; Lee, Jonny, Steve, Matthew, and Jez, are all embarking on a 1544-mile trip from the UK town of Winterton, through to the Spanish resort of Benidorm, to fulfil a promise and raise funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice, and Macmillan Cancer Support, in memory of John’s father Rod Haynes.

The group will use Honda C90s to ride across the route, while carrying everything from lightweight camping equipment to spares/tool kits, should the worst happen. The route will take John and friends through Holland, Belgium, France, Andorra, Barcelona and finally passing Valencia to get to their destination of Benidorm.

BJB are thrilled to have had the opportunity to sponsor such a brilliant cause, which is very close to the heart of our Sales Director, Ian Roden, who said: “It is an absolute pleasure to support John and the lads on their trip. It’s a truly wonderful way to keep a promise and raise valuable funds for the amazing people at Lindsey Lodge and MacMillan Cancer Support. Everyone here at BJB Lift Trucks LTD will be keeping an eye on the groups progress and we wish them well”.

We wish John, Lee, Jonny, Steve, Matthew, and Jez the best of luck on their journey and encourage everyone that can, to donate to such good causes.
