BJB Mechanical Services was formed In 1982 by Messrs Brown, Jackson and Bates. The original home for the business was Birchin Way in Grimsby before successful growth led to a move to larger premises on Armstrong Street. BJB Lift Trucks Ltd was registered in 1991.
The current owners, Phil Flowers and Peter Harvey have been in partnership since 2007. They have spearheaded the continued success and growth of the business, together with their team, into today’s award winning enterprise.
BJB Lift Trucks Ltd now employs a team of 35 across all functions, owns an MHE fleet of 450 vehicles across Diesel, LPG & Electric variants as well as maintaining 500 customer owned fleets nationwide across a multitude of different sectors including food, medical, manufacturing, agriculture, ports & chemical.

Award Winners
In May 2011, we were awarded the Northern Lincolnshire Award for Training Excellence. To succeed, the company had to demonstrate its commitment and investment in training its own staff. This award was won again in 2013, reinforcing the outstanding training offered at BJB Lift Trucks.
